My wonderful driver David Li was waiting for me at the agreed spot even though my flight was an hour late. The great wall was amazing but forbidden city was sold out so he drove me and showed me Tiananmen square and a few other amazing buildings and translated some facts about them and different facts about beijing. He was great and let me sleep on the long drive and then pointed out stuff when I was awake and we had some laughs.
Couldn't have asked for any better, he was great!

We decided to visit the great wall on this lovely afternoon with David, who was an excellent, friendly driver. Great Wall was awesome, especially the old Part of it, which hasn‘t been restored, yet.

Awesome experience, great driver
We booked on the website. communication was friendly and accommodated pick up of two additional ppl at the airport. Super clean car with water, bananas. David was really friendly, patient and showed us a great entry point into the hike that we would have never found without him! Absolute recommended!!!

David was there at the airport to pick us up as promised. He was an excellent host providing snacks and a few small mementos. We arrived at Mu Tian yu great wall just in time for the wall opening. David arranged the tickets. You need 3 tickets per person: park entrance, transit bus to the foot of the hill, return chairlift journey with optional toboggan down. He managed the whole process efficiently and honestly. He showed us the way and ensured we were among the first few onto the wall... so our photos were excellent and with little effort have nobody else in the background. Attached is a screen shot from my camera. David explained things on the journey... showed us a short animated video of the wall on his phone, answered our questions about buildings and things we saw on the way... and even stopped to show us the lake on the way back and bought us fruit without charging for it. ...
Overall Excellent and he is a good driver and kind guide.

Ask for David Li
We went to the great wall of Mutianyu with David Li. He is so kind and funny and he came to our hotel before our scheduled time. I recommend him because he is a really good driver (he get out of the high way as soon as he noticed lot of traffic) and he is very helpful with us. He helped us to buy tickets to the great wall and gave us some advices, like to avoid shopping in that area. He also gave us some souvenirs to bring home, it was a really nice touch.

If you want to go the great wall, you have to get up early. We left the city at 06:50am and at 08:30 we were on the cable car of Mutianyu. There were just 10 people, more or less. When we came back, the area was packed and there were a lot of queues.

Ask for David Li, I will choose him for my next trip!

Highly Recommended Chartered Taxi Cab in Beijing

I am so glad I found this chartered cab service just days before my Great Wall visit. Not only did this service provide advice on what to expect, but also the recommended (and not recommended) itinerary.

Booking was easy - through WeChat. All questions asked were answered promptly. Very smooth and easy.

Our driver - David Li - was very knowledgeable and it was a pleasure to speak with him in Mandarin (since we are Singaporeans). We derived much insights from him about life and things in Beijing and China besides the Great Wall. David was extremely reliable and took care of our Great Wall arrangements for us. So we ended up on the recommended thrilling ski-lift ride up the Great Wall and the exhilarating luge ride down. Because David took us there early, we missed the crowds and had many parts of the Great Wall all to ourselves. Unforgettable!

Perfect day at Mutianyu great wall!
Had a wonderful day trip to the Great Wall at Mutianyu with David Li. I had added them on wechat prior to my trip and chatted with someone about prices and booked that way (in English). David wasn't listed as an English speaking driver, but he definitely did know some English and was easily able to communicate with my friend and I with a little patience and a translation app. He was super friendly and nice, I would go anywhere again with him in a heartbeat (and may well when I return next summer)! He met us in our hotel lobby, showed us some videos about the great wall on his phone on the way there (drive came with fruit for breakfast and a bunch of free water). He helped us buy the tickets for chairlift and toboggan and waited for us to finish up and then drove us back home. He also advised us not to purchase souveneirs there - true! We tipped him too - paid in cash when he dropped us back at the hotel. Was about $170 which wasn't cheap but was a fair price for a full day. A+ experience.

City tour
Insteadcat the airport waiting for our conection flight to Vienna, we decided to make a 4 hours city tour started 5.00 a.m with a reliable, very nice and talkative driver David Li. Thanks a lot. He welcomed us at the airport with some snack and water and was very supportive during our visit, helped us buying the tickets while explainig the details. Nice guide

Easy seamless visit to the Great Wall with 3b
Seamless easy experience to get up to the Great Wall. Public transport just looks painful and this was so smooth. Pick up ontime, safe drive up and drop off.

David very nice and showed you where to buy tickets. Advise an early pickup in Beijing (630) so you can basically have parts of the wall to yourself.

Loved our experience with 3B Taxi
This service made our trip to The Great Wall so much easier and pleasant than it would have been taking public transport.

We were super tired at the last leg of our trip and decided to go with 3B Taxi instead of navigating buses to the Great Wall. David was our driver. He was so helpful, polite and patient. Picked us up from our hotel on time, with a clean cab and plenty of water. We left with a 7am start, and we actually ended up both falling asleep on the way to the wall, the drive was so smooth. The earlier you get to the wall, the better. We were up there from about 9am–1pm and walked a really large portion of it. One thing I would recommend is asking (at The Great Wall) to pay a little bit more for using the Cable Car service on the way up (not the chairlift) and then the Toboggan on the way down (so much fun). The cable car gets you up further along the wall than the chairlift does, so you don't have to walk as much to begin with and can have a headstart.

David was really helpful with local advice, he even bought us a gift waiting for us in the car when we got back from the wall. He went above and beyond what we expected. Thanks 3B taxi. A+

Mutianyu Great Wall Trip
ASK FOR DAVID. He’s the kindest and most welcoming chofer we’ve ever had. He had several water bottles for us ready before the Great Wall, when we got back to go home he got us some panda souvenirs to take home, and he stopped along the street in a field of flowers for us to take pictures.

Perfect day!
Trip was awesome. We didn’t book anything in advance because we wanted to play it by ear. However, the morning of, we worried we wouldn’t be able to get a good price. We found 3B and they answered our WeChat in minutes with a quote of less than half of the hotels quote for Great Wall and Summer Palace.

David Li was a great driver - gave us tips on what to do and see, and had bottled water, bananas, and gifts for us. And we were able to set our own schedule which you can’t do with a tour. Highly recommend!

3B Taxi offered me the opportunity to get off the airport and visit the Great Wall of China very early in the morning. I was the first visitor there, saw the golden rays over the wall and the gorgeous mountain landscape around it. An experience never ever to forget, it was truly magical (I almost cried of happiness).

The driver was very friendly and took me on a small detour to a pretty water reservoir in the neighborhood as we had a little bit of time to spare. There was water, wifi and bananas in the car. Totally worth the money!

Lovely day out at Great Wall, summer palace and wedding dress shopping!

Mutianyu Great Wall VIP
David the driver was great! Showed up in a clean car, super friendly. Overall trip 10/10.. drive was good, helped up figure out the choices and pushed us to do the toboggan ride down the mountain. Glad he recommended it as it was fantastic... told us “don’t buy any souvenirs there, it’s all overpriced. When you get back to the city, go to the market and it’ll cost half as much”... thanks David!! If you haven’t got the gist of it, David spoke English very well
